Private Swim Instructor

I taught swimming for the town of Orleans, MA for 8 summers (at the same freshwater pond where I learned to swim). After that, I continued to teach privately, and have now been a swim instructor for 20 years. It doesn't feel like summer without swim lessons!

I teach swimming and water safety to both children and adults, and particularly love working with children who are fearful or reluctant, and adults who never learned to swim and/or who had early negative experiences around water. My goal is to meet kids and adults where they are, listen to their fears, and help them gain confidence as swimmers.
